Babbler goes off-line!

Time to move on says Webmaster!

From the Publisher:

After much discussion, I have decided to temporally shutdown The Babbler's web site. The Internet has advanced by leaps and bounds since we started this web page. Unfortunately we haven't been able to keep up with those changes.

So I have decided to take down this site, and hire a new design team. A team that knows ASP, SAP, DSL, and all those other programming languages. For the average reader, that means you can read The Babbler from your Palm Top. Better yet, we can start offering streaming media! That means you can finally watch our video tape of Roger Claar watching an alien abduction!

During this transition, you can still read buy The Babbler at your local grocery store. We've even worked out our differences with Jewel, and you'll start seeing it on the newsstands very shortly. As always, you'll still be able to read Bolingbrook's first and only tabloid.

We may be off-line, but we are not out of business. You hear that Mayor Claar? We'll still be keeping an eye on you!

From the former webmaster:

I started The Babbler web site for fun, and it was for a long time. (Legal threats not withstanding.) In the beginning, this was the only site I had to worry about.

Today, I'm the Webmaster of the Extreme Fighting System web site, and the Outlands Aria web site. I'm also taking classes at COD. In short, I no longer have the time to do The Babbler.

So rather than run out of ideas for The Babbler, I just won't do any new articles for awhile. Everyone's welcome to read the old articles. I won't take the site down, but this is it for now.

Thanks to everyone who visited this site. I'm glad several people got to enjoy my hard work. Who knows, maybe someday I'll start it up again.

William Brinkman
"Webmaster" of the Bolingbrook Babbler.
